CSKs winning run in their fortress continues

CSK did it with the bat again at their home ground to chase down 160 with 4 balls and 5 wickets remaining, thanks to some gruesome batting by the in-form Mike Hussey followed by captain cool Dhoni. The bowlers did little to stop the batting line up of CSK and they were half way there almost when Amit Mishra dropped a sitter as Dhoni got away with a chance which he ensure he utilized to the fullest. He went on to score a half century to see his team through; the pitch was a good surface to bat on with 160 runs being scored and chased, also it had extra bit of spin which helped Amit Mishra to scalp 3 important wickets and young Karn Sharma to maintain an excellent economy rate. The pacers went for plenty though.

Hyderabad are still in the safe zone but needs to get back to winning ways soon but CSK can cherish their victory as of now and bask under the captaincy of MSD. The moment of the match was when Mishra missed Dhoni’s catch but the match could still have been won with 15 required of the final over which went to young Reddy who was brilliant with the bat before but hadn’t bowled a single over throughout the match; the gamble didn’t turn out to be much efficient especially when you’re bowling in your death overs to a destructor named Dhoni and he got the treatment he deserved.
